Now that the dust has settled, what's the /v/erdict?

I completely forgot that JDM: Japanese Drift Master was coming out this year until I saw it in the summer sale. Bought the base game and pirated the extra DLC stuff.

Did anyone here play the game? How is it? I'm about to launch it for the first time.

Why did it flop so hard?
On paper, it's the perfect game for the modern car enthusiast.
Barely a month after release and nobody cares anymore.
