I think the port is more of a byproduct of the other game they are developing for the Switch 2. They bring the engine over for that console, might as well port something.

Dark souls 2 was my favorite for that, invading people in the abyss since they had to clear the 3 mini dungeons to fight the boss... So much hatemail/death threats

Bloodborne then dark souls 2 had the best pvp, but overall games in my opinion

I am biased against DaS3 because I just hated replaying it due to how linear it was and I have fond memories of the hate mail I got from invading people in the abyss in DaS2
