I was watching it with a buddy and teared up at the episode where she falls, Spe cries out and she ends up in bed at the hospital, had to hold back myself from sobbing even more. Same for when she was finally back on track running against Sun Visor. The ep where they go training on the island and Condor loses the Arc, ep 9 I think, is my favourite episode and I'm not even a Suzukafag.
It wasn't perfect but I think it was done well given what I read about the horse, I hope Jap keibafags liked it back then too.
