I did nothing for me honestly. Genshin isn't good at the simpler style, characters reuse the same basic attack animation so there is no personality (I do appreciate the few that do have special ones like nahida or nilou, especially if they actually can use them in combat, but those are not that common), even that new one just reuses the catalyst animation. In wuwa animations freezes the timer, so you're also always in control as the timer moves even if more "cutscene attacks" exist, but in genshin not only the basic attacks can't be used in most characters (because physical is an unnecessary waste of time) but even ults sometimes can't be used due to it being a dps loss, so you often pay a lot for characters that just Q, E or EQ and leave or for main dps just loop mash charge/basic attack after infusion (but I guess that makes it very simple I guess, but characters become just functions that are interchangeable). Even characters conceptually similar like xiao and varesa vs roccia with plunge gameplay feels a lot better in wuwa because movement is more fluid as you can move fast in the air, dodge in the air, quickswap and even glide/fly without interrupting, which just shows me that simple isn't just better. That's just my opinion though, not trying to say you're wrong.
