FF17 being an MMO that the entire company puts their entire weight and best talent behind is the thing that should happen the most, but it's also the least likely thing they'll do.
They don't have the resources to keep 14 on life support for as long as they've kept 11 on life support, and because of the effort involved, it won't have near the amount of return on investment 11 does. Another single player entry will flop again because they won't get the sales numbers they want (relative to what they need). Make a new MMO you stubborn nips.
