Because the chinese are idiots. They build these massive cities of nothing but glass, steel and concrete. They don't put in enough trees. Just concrete for miles upon miles. Its called the heat island effect. All that concrete creates a massive heat bubble over the city, and it wont disperse. They say oh look at this glorious city we have built while their residents cook. It will only get worse
