I am trying to get through my Computer Science degree and if that explodes in my face, trucking is the way to go.
It's starting to feel like ChatGPT is the real student here. I'm a good codemonkey but by the time I graduate, AI will be more economically feasible than offshoring work.
It'll be many years until trucking starts to feel the pain of AI replacing jobs. Plus, I like driving, listening to music, podcasts, audiobooks, and I like feeling like a nomad without a home.
