While I understand the fact that she was practically at gunpoint when dealing with Toxisoda, absolutely none of her other bullshit is justifiable. If Renee really wanted nothing to do with Ashley, all she had to do was dump her at a foster home/orphanage/fire station and everything would have gone better for everyone.

having sex with your own son, in a normal family, is obviously seen as problematic or damaging even. But this family is already damaged, and your daughter is causing more damage
Step one is to get her away from him
Step two is to assert control and be the lead female figure in his life. You do this by placing yourself in a position of power while also giving him what he clearly wants.

merely refocus his incestuous love for his sister onto yourself, and you can easily undo the damage Ashley has done without needing to pay for an expensive therapist that likely wouldnt even work.
