Anything produced by Sonic Team, depicting or describing the characters. Amy Rose herself has stated that she does not want to tie Sonic down. She want to watch him run free. As far as Sonic Team is concerned, Amy is just a cute girl who loves Sonic a whole lot, and it's meant to be treated in a fun and positive light. Accusations you throw at her, calling her sick or a stalker, have no basis in canon because that is not what Amy's character is, period.
Amy Rose is, at her core, "Girl Sonic". She is the feminine and girly version of Sonic painted in pink with all sorts of romantic themes and stuff, while also being a mirror of Sonic beneath all that. The dynamic is based on Sonic's own lack of interest in romance because he sees relationships as tying him down. Amy has a different perspective, and so she challenges Sonic's notions on the subject. Amy doesn't want to tie Sonic down, she wants to be the one catching up to him. That is the point of how her SA1 story ends, and what she does throughout all of Heroes, and in general. Chasing Sonic is with the intent of keeping up with him and being part of his life, not to capture him or force him to live "her way". She is like Tails following Sonic, not Knuckles getting in his way with tricks and traps.
>There's nowhere to hide.
>I'll always be there for you.
>You can be my sweetest honey for eternity.
There is nothing wrong with any of these lyrics at all. These ARE the lyrics of a fun and playful girl. All it is is passionate love. Stop trying to frame "Passion" as a bad thing.
Sonic is cool and aloof, Amy is passionate. This is a contrast between two temperaments, one is not inherently better than the other. It's not "good" to be aloof, and "bad" to be passionate. It's just differences in personality and mindset, and they're both equally valid. Amy has no "mental problems", nor does she want to possess Sonic.
Pay attention to the actual story, instead of all this projection.
