An orbital maneuver, OP is presuming its a vehicle so it must be able to generate thrust, at least according to the image. I think it's probably just a rock, unless it suddenly changes trajectory without warning. It's out of the orbital plane too, so it'd have to correct its inclination to match with the planets if it was gonna head to one of them after slowing into a solar orbit.
