No, because they are flesh and blood going off of muscle memory and character sheets, with an animation director overseeing key-frames and if the inbetween are done in-house, that's even more time.
That's more time, and more players that need wrangling and cohesion.

I don't think you even have a tenuous grasp on how animation works. That said, it would take longer than AI animation, and would suffer from errors because people aren't perfect.
