Do they have anyone who can write interesting stories about super-advanced technology, the social fabric of far-future worlds with access to near-magic tech (or actual magic) or can dream up some compelling and bizarre alien societies?

Then it's just D-list superhero crap with funny looking buildings and everyone drives a space ship. In other words a complete waste of time for everyone.
Same reason Detective Comics has not actual DETECTIVE comics, because writing is hard and they only hire people who can rehash Darkseid's Big Plot.

The first season was pretty decent.
Could not make it past Episode 1 of the second season.
All the decent actors from the first season are dead/imprisoned/out of the country.
All of the "kids", including Pugsley are pretty bad actors. Sal iust just cashing a check.

I tolerated the fact that in Season 1, all of the Adammses looked great, but none of them could act, some of them could barely read lines of dialogue. Zeta looks so very tired.

Can't go on with this show. It's not enough Kooky, too much Harry Potter meets The Munsters, it has no Addams Family vibe.
And its attempts to alternately be Deadly Serious bsns and Dark Goofy are plain confusing.
