She lights up, exchanges platitudes, mentions her single daughter with the grace of the Kool Aide man. The daughter flinches at that, observing your interaction. You offer your hand, "it's a pleasure to meet you," complement her dress. The conversation is fluid, candid, there's no pressure, you can't fuck this up so you make candid observations, you say Nancy should tell all the pretty girls you're single too, her daughter smiles at that.
