Well fuck. Alright yeah see you lot in a week, won't be around until I beat the thing. I'm hoping to see more contributions to the collab by the time I'm back, it's looking pretty promising so far!

Man I... really didn't account for how many Mask shenanigans I'd need to do to pull off the SCW edit for the collab background, between the general hue shifting and the crystals. I think I'm at 126 layers total now in my work file... Still, chipping away at it regardless. I wanted to draw unique crystal formations along the right edge of the road but I think I'll have to just use a single template one for that for the sake of time (not like I have the luxury of being able to make them look different by just rotating the 3D model). Still, I promised myself I'd have it done before the release week for it, and dammit I'm gonna do it. Unrelated, but I will say that all the speculation about the comet relating to Void makes me want to try writing for him, though, I'm not entirely sure how he should be characterized, if given character at all... Elfilis is definitely my comfort zone when it comes to that.
