I usually get excited brewing a new deck about once a month, but I've been sitting on Narset curses for longer than that now without much will to put something else together. I figured there'd be at least one eye-catching legendary from Final Fantasy, but everything in the set looks so incredibly fucking boring.

I'd like to build Errant and Giada flash tribal, but the cards that "make" the deck are surprisingly expensive. I've been debating Melek, Reforged Researcher as a sort of "big spells control" deck with a lot of my favorite 5-mana counterspells (i.e. Spell Swindle, Spelljack, etc) but idk

Did get there at the LGS tonight. Wanted to play another deck, but saw the pod had a Vivi and was certain he would be deserving of correction.
>Path'd and counter-warred to kill his commander
>hit him with Curse of Exhaustion
>stole Vivi with Treachery the second time around to ensure he would never use it again
Later down the line I hit an Ur-Dragon player with triple Bribery off my commander + Errant then stole his Miirym, got two Terror of the Peaks and two Bahamuts which basically ended the game.
