I've been flying economy in the US since 2004 and I've never seen a flight where anything other than like a sandwich was available for purchase onboard. Snacks and beverages only. So I always brought my own stuff from the airport.

You get actual food on your flights? Been a long time since I've seen anything other than snacks and drinks.
