>him: "Okay when I attack I create a meteor, and I'm going to kill this." and taps my creature
>round passes
>other players play synergy piece creatures with 2 or less toughness
>decide to just be nice and play some creatures instead of turbo blasting his Commander again
>his turn he windmill slams Panharmonicon and creates two meteors and silently taps my two creatures with smug grin on his face
>cast Tragic Slip on his Commander in response assuming it won't go through because he has 4 fucking open mana t4
>he stares at his hand for several seconds, makes a pissy face, puts Roxanne back in the command zone and ramps up with some cultivate spells and rocks
>my turn hold up mana for removal instead of playing creatures
>other two players building boards unimpeded
>back to his turn he slams Roxanne back onto the field and hits me directly for damage
>remove her
>again he studies his hand as if he actually has anything to play and puts her back while playing more rocks and synergy pieces
>another round
>plays his Commander again immediately hitting me for 8 meteor damage this time
>remove her again
>he has the gall to say "Are you going to actually play the game?"
>tell him I am and that I'm not going to play anything but removal as long as he can keep board wiping any creature I play
>rest of game plays out like this, and despite him having 18+ mana he can't do anything but durdlefuck because he has no non-Commander wincon but also doesn't have nearly enough protection in his deck to stop removal
>has the gall to call me a tryhard who plays to annoy people after one of the other players - who got 0 attention from Roxannebitch - wins
