Well, they no longer exist in the same form in this place, and when they did, they only sometimes put a name in the OP, which may have been a different name anyway.
There were a couple of threads that, like this one, would just link to the next one when limit was reached. Fur, Gfur, Animus. Others.
Technically 'Animus' were the anime threads. Animus is just a bastardization. "Watched any good animus lately?", ya know?
Very soft theme though. While most people used avatars, some did not. And while many avatars were anime, I'm not even sure half of them were.
