I really wonder sometimes how much better a place the world would be if they were gone, especially if they'd been removed from America at a much earlier date. I understand things weren't really that simple, and it was likely a lose-lose scenario no matter what was done (before or after the Civil War), but the damage they've done and continue to do is incalculable. They truly are an albatross on the rest of the nation, and one that very well might lead to our descendants suffering some horrible fate as well.

I don't think we can know with 100% certainty, but most people have said they think it's an accident. I think so too, I doubt she would go "Oh no, guess I better kill myself!"
