as someone at a high level in SC1, it regularly blows my mind how stupid other good players are. Like you, I would expect them to be doctors or ppl that are far along in their lives, and there are certainly a few of them. But the vast majority of people who play rts (and ppl who are good at rts) are complete fucking losers that can't apply the skills they learned in the game to real life. I have no idea why, but it seems to be a recurring thing. SC1 takes so much effort to get good at so it is so fucking weird.
