I think the main problem is people playing anime games with the english dub. It sounds hella more cornier than it does in japanese. I'm not even joking, I genuinely think this is why people complain about anime games that much but not "anime". Also come on man, you're not telling me this scene didn't give you a little goosebumps. Shit was awesome.
