I care more about a fight being fun rather than being good. Sans, Zartlet, Roaring Knight etc. were all fun even while they were beating my ass. I've seen some really shitty fan fights where the attacks are just bullshit without telegraphs and unreasonable space to dodge all the elements, though, and I feel no incentive to try and clear those. I can't find it now but I once got recommended a video of someone performing a first ever """clear""" of an AU Papyrus fight that the player was forced to use cheats to make themselves invincible after a certain points because the hitboxes on a late attack were too large and it was literally impossible to not get hit (and you had 1HP so you couldn't just play perfect and use your HP to tank it). If the creator just uploaded it online without making sure it was beatable—let alone if they could beat it under reasonable constraints—then it's not high quality enough to be worth your time.
