No, imo "Hollywood" people like the novelty of privately breaking and sharing actors/actresses around with their industry friends, then watching the victims keep quiet about it and pretend to the public like they're still normal. There's a whole power play aspect to it that sadists get off to. In fact I'd say that's the main appeal of it to them. Plus it ties into the greater blackmail matrix that keeps everything moving behind closed doors.
