If I understand correctly the low demand is just a result of the low prices, so an (I assume) unintended artificial bottleneck. If LMBA really starts to fear a Failure to Deliver they will let the price rise to increase supply and catch up later, like we saw 2/3 weeks ago. I think they can play that game for a long time.
