The last time I played was 2002 or 2003. Had a good group, but then our DM moved, taking one of the players with him as they were married. Another player tried to fill the role of DM but was terrible at it, and we also ended up with some spergs by trying to replenish the ranks. After that I just focused on the MMO I was already playing at the time.
Fun times, though. I loved playing my elf rogue thief.
Oh, and then 3.5 hit, after we were all promised that 3 would be "the last set of books [we] would ever need to buy" and I was like, forget it.

Nice. I'm being totally lazy today after swining an axe nonstop under the sun during a Texas afternoon yesterday, because I suddenly remembered it was the final day to put out brush for collection, and I had a lot I needed to chop down and get out.
