I'm not saying there's a wide breadth of skill expression, but the player is absolutely a factor. It's not just an issue of decision-making or win-losses either, but also the willingness to grind. The people in Master right now are there because they are in the dungeon just going at it for dozens and dozens of games.

The point of the card is that it provides increased synergy with things like Mainyu, Skullfam, and Jeanne while letting you either chip the opponent down for eventual lethal. The tiger serves a different purpose and is basically removal. Rodeo is ACTUALLY bad because it doesn't provide enough value for the cost and by that point you can instead just set up for Jeanne/Griffon/Skullfane turns.
