You want an actual disaster? Look at the mario party games we’ve gotten on the switch. Somehow they all royally fuck up one aspect or another while leaving none of them the slightest fun to play period, even with friends. I can see Camelot course-correcting especially given all of their titles have flopped to some degree, but NDCube on the other hand have become the new GoodFeel and frankly should just be dropped. Unfortunately Jamboree is a top-seller, so they’ll be stuck in their delusion of grandeur and nothing will ever improve
