The anime wasn't for people like you. I can't believe anyone hates it but that's just the undying konoha in me. When given the opportunity to craft a narrative that would be mass consumed about the creative process the creators wanted to give an anime that would inspire creativity to avoid the animes bad end of anime being absorbed by globohomo slop. If you care at all about the lost generations struggles and potent art you would understand that another layer is supposed to provide nutrition and ambition to the people who watch it, not be your hermit shell from the present.
After seeing so many hate or love it and why, I firmly believe only creators or those who want to be are able to understand this anime. I don't even like vns and I get it.

I have no hopes. Scene zero being forced into madoka proved shaft and aniplex have no idea what to do with madoka now that they don't have a competent writer like gen willing to work on the franchise and keep milking it. The failure of the new gachaslop has me thinking they will cancel or rush the movie. I'm glad it failed. It utterly deserved to get kicked out of the top 50 from a previous top 10 after the en debacle and in general turning the franchise into pachinko jpegs. But that same financial failure, the desperation to infuse whatever fresh blood they can pump into the franchise is disgusting. It would be a miracle if anything came out watchable let alone didn't do lasting and permanent damage to the franchise.
