Doesn't matter what the source if it's not even an attempt to use original characters it's a crossover. Theros isn't a crossover because they at least scraped the names off the Greeks. Arabian Nights is not a "Arabian myth adjacent" setting with OC characters, it's pre-established characters shoved into Magic. It's a crossover no matter how obtuse you want to try and be about it retardkun, it was included because Aladdin was a red hot property in 1993 thanks to the movie that was released a year before, and it was the 2nd major release in the game's history. Right at the start, Magic was 50% UB and they never stopped, they did the exact same shit with Three Kingdoms which was made right after Mulan.
