I haven't owned a gaming desktop since 2006, I am now in my mid 30s with children, I want to buy myself a decent desktop for light gaming, phot / video editing and general use

I have about 4300 CAD which is about 3115 USD

I don't want to spend an atrocious amount of money. are any prebuilt still good? or is it still just cheaper to part it out individually?

Also if they are any recommendations on something cheap and reasonable for my kids to stream / game on?

been out of the loop 20 years but I still have electrical engineering schooling, not so much electronics but more than average.

I'm travelling to South Korea next week as I feel like I'm missing something in my life and I wanted to get out of my comfort zone. I'm kind of a shy introvert who just going to explore and do some photography. I'm kind of curious about checking out the nightlife there even though I don't like clubbing much. Are the Koreans friendly to foreigners and what are the girls like? This is going to be my first solo travel.
