Endgame: Hero, Wife, Son, Daughter, Sancho, Tuppence, Saber, some kind of slime. I'm really bad about using interesting or varied monsters, I just want to go with my family.
In act 2 you have to use whatever's on hand, of course. I've never felt the need to grind for a particular monster, I just use what I get.
