You retards have no fucking clue. Do you know why AAA games have so much content bloat? Because that stuff only requires artists to make all those assets. In other words, cheaper employees because they have fewer career prospects. Bespoke gameplay and innovative systems requires talented engineers. And talented engineers are abandoning the industry because they can make literally double or even triple the salary working on basically anything else. Why do you think I--a software dev who loves gaming--don't work in game dev? Because I make way more money on enterprise software.
