Though what he probably means is something that con-artist psychologists used to call "Emotional Incest". Meaning no actual sex occurs, but family members (usually parents with children) develop a strong emotional or trauma bond as a substitute for intimacy. Most people just call it "codependency" these days, but "emotional incest" sounds scarier.
