As a whole, the roster in SFV blows SF6 out of the water so fucking hard it's not even funny: newcomers, base roster, DLC choices, all are significantly better in V
The only cool thing 6 did was the Terry and Mai crossover, which is a giant fucking waste because now they are stuck in a shit game. Terry in particular got shafted because they butchered his face.
