Characters like Baldr, Gullveig, and Eilthrynir are winning because votes have fallen so far that they actually have a chance, especially after Gull pulled first place out of her hat. It's to the point that there's a non-zero chance that TMS is gonna have a winner because reddit is dumb enough to wonder why no one likes TMS. Not because of the banners, no. We've just reached the point where the only characters left to add are strange omissions (Trickster Anna and main antagonists lile Rudolph and Raydrick) and shitters (like everyone from Thracia). Really think about it: 3H has all the students in some form or other, SS is missing six characters in base form, Blazing has six missing not counting Bartre and Merlinus, Echoes just needs Deen to top off its playable cast, Awakening is so complete that fucking Raimi might get added in the next two years. This was always gonna happen, we've just reached the point where we feel the stretch of characters left to add.
