It doesn't though, she has an entire statblock of her doing direct action. She simply underestimates us and doesn't want to expend any effort other than a 2 minute conversation with some random pawn (Lae'zel) until she realizes we might not listen to her. And then she sends three fully equipped Githyanki hunting parties after us.
As to why she doesn't "Wish" us dead
A. that isn't how Wish actually works in the TTRPG
B. The Wish death is a joke from Larian that every autist has hyperfixated on for 2 years because Wish doesn't work that way (see A)
