I think because I back after Krugs and buy a Dark Seal, it makes my first clear like ~3:40, so I never really notice how slow Ekko is.
I spent 6 hours in practice tool trying to do different clears on Kayn, and I couldn't get it below 3:30-3:32 without some dumb shenanigans. At one point I was kind of tilt resetting if I couldn't get to the middle of mid lane at 2:30-2:35. Though I think it's because I play with double scaling health and attack speed than taking the adaptive force roons.
I did watch an OTP on stream and they also had a ~3:30 clear but they also got invaded at the last second on their blue - but it really didn't give me confidence to continue on my Kayne arc.

They did a bunch of bug fixes on him and Singed this patch; previously he hovered around ~48% win rate over the last 8 patches with ~20k games. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes up, and becomes more relevant again.
