Why do modern cartoonfags put so much emphasis in meaningless crap like this? Recent cartoons (Steven Universe, Amphibia come to mind) where they have beautiful and elegantly painted backgrounds with the most hideously generic CalArts blobs waddling across them. Or this whole spiel about how these blobs are standing next to each other or even unique camera angles of these androgynous blobs. Who gives a shit if it all looks so disjointed?
