youre not looking at it right. that wasnt imposed top down in america the way it would have been if america had conquered lithuania from the ussr and imposed americanism, america was in theory a free country with a strong middle class. the way the middle class was destroyed was not only with divorce courts, but also with pastors telling men theyre deadbeats after the courts redistribute their kids and wages, and americans saying that to each other. americans were unable to react to the government pressure because they were oppressed by the courts
