This, circumcision is THE issue. Without it all the Abrahamic religions not only collapse, but are revealed as scams. Circumcision is simply the ultimate form of cult abuse/mind control. It self perpetuates because parents either have to face the brainwashing and admit that everything they were told was a lie, or continue to inflict the generational trauma on their own children. If you're a victim of it, it's a huge mental barrier to escaping the cult because you have to accept that your parents, your society, and the biggest religions in the world are wrong about everything. Accepting circumcision as valid completely destroys the ability to use moral reasoning and neutralizes you as a moral actor. If you can justify or tolerate sexually assaulting, raping, mutilating (and in the case of metzitza ba-peh, cannibalism) an infant (your own infant!), you can justify anything.
