They also ignore that games with many multiple times less budget are getting proportionally much more revenue. A game that can take $10 million a month(iOS only) but with a string budget in comparison is far more cost effective and deadly to the market in terms of shakeup than a high budget game like Genshin/HSR. And it doesn't even need to make half of that to maintain itself.
Now you flood the industry with such games and suddenly the bigger games have to compete with a swarm of smaller games for attention.
