I ended up getting these because my local shop gave me a massive deal on an open box pair of the white variant (it has the newer lock), I don't regret it because of the price but man you guys were right about the soundstage. They just fit my ear perfectly but I feel if the pads were a lot thicker and the driver was larger then people would rant and rave about these
