I work in complex chemical engineering simulation, I'm not saying AI will never replace me (it surely could) but LLMs specifically cannot do what I do without wildly hallucinating and shitting their pants constantly, I don't understand when people say companies have "already replaced thousands of jobs with AI" what fucking jobs are they replacing? AI still hallucinates for simple things let alone complex things, what fucking job do you do where you're being replaced by pants shitting LLMs?
