/vp/ - Are they the only good Poketuber?
Anonymous No.58170079
The only Poketuber I've ever watched is Reverend and he hasn't uploaded in a year.
Poketuber threads should be banworthy, fuck you kids.

Aahh, so it's just a thing that happens then, I feel a tiny bit less stupid at least, thank you.
/v/ - When and why did the boring no items and only 3 stages became the norm among Smash players?

Sure it's fair until the opponent throws a Pokeball and Kyogre comes and and he pushes you into the lava wall or you get stuck in place because Shadow spawned out the Assist Trophy and you can't play Smash anymore. Stage hazards by themselves aren't too bad (usually), but put them together with items and you might as well just be rolling slots.

The point is that items are so overtuned that the gameplay is more about them than actually fighting your opponent, which people don't find fun because they'd rather actually fight the other person.

If you think the items are where the depth of Smash's gameplay lies that says way more about you than anyone else.

I'm sure the original meaning of "fake nice" was if someone acted kind but talked shit behind your back or something, but the way /xivg/ has been using the term, it basically just means "person has any sort of boundaries and isn't my loyal follower after 2 conversations".
If you're actively trying to be kind to others, then it's not fake, learning to be less of an abrasive asshole takes time and effort, which it sounds like you're working to do, I'd argue the actual "fake nice" person is the one who keeps trying to bully you in spite of your efforts.
It's good to want to be nice to others, but being kind to yourself is important too, and it sounds like that friend is someone you're better off without.
