Heidi is easily best girl. The fact she can also be a badass is a nice bonus. I hope we actually see her Neo Human strength instead of it happening off screen.

I do not think Heidi is a traitor, and her interactions with the other characters are interesting in hindsight. Heidi had no reason to hug Ario and wish for him to be safe. Maybe she cares about humans in her own way that made her an outcast among Neo Humans. He was chosen to go on the Neo Human mission because Heidi thought he looked beautiful like one. Meanwhile her body is injured presumably from torture. If she is a threat the humans could have already been captured or killed thanks to her. She was willing to be left behind and handle the Lawless to allow the humans a chance to escape.
