I think she's less bland than Quinn, Joule, and Monica. Hell, I think she's less bland than GV. GV only really became interesting in the third game since he's having to wrestle with himself and undergo character development. The antagonists have almost always been more memorable than the protagonists.

I like how the fandom twisted Kirin into a crazed minos hater from a few lines of her being casually racist towards Copen. Within GV's setting, she's kind of right that most minos never amount to anything special, unlike adepts, and that's without the powers. Powerful adepts are prettier, smarter, and can live for hundreds of years thanks to the septimal energies coursing through them.
