I just changed my gender information with my car insurance and they instantly lowered my premium, people are so much nicer to me now that I've transitioned, and people are much more understanding when I express my feelings! I think I get why TERFs want to keep this special role in society that women have bc they don't have to pay the man premiums. I didn't transition for these reasons, but if i knew i might have started hrt earlier!

I had my first week back in class for the first time in like 3 years and its been nice to be a student again! Its just one course (intro to psych, i know lol) at a local community college but im liking it, though the density of information is has been dreadfully low. But this has kinda been one of my first steps back into the world and im happy to report its gone well so far!

Also the preschool started back up this week and we have a lot more younger kids (a few are 2.7yos) its been kinda nice in its own way working w kids that young and the kids who were younger last year are now taking on new roles and are "the responsible ones" now, which has been v heartwarming. Also i feel like im going into this year w so much more confidence and competence now that i have more experience under my belt (which is good bc we're a little understaffed) so that feels nice for my own development too!
