Echoing >>127365045, I put it on at 1.5x in the background but just seeing the lesson where he takes you to the keyboard to see the different scales LAID OUT on the keyboard, to explain WHY every other scale is downstream of Ionian C, BECAUSE of the half-steps baked into the western music system (the keys without black keys between them) really opened my eyes.
That and the caged video, it's an hour video but beat the hell out of the samjamguitar video on caged and made me understand basic barre chords and their derivatives better.
Disclaimer: I'm only on lesson 24 and stuck memorizing the mode patterns and fretboard rn
