Weird question. When somebody says a character isn't likeable what does that mean? That they have too many flaws? I always thought characters were supposed to have flaws to make them realistic. Is it that these flaws aren't well balanced enough with positive traits?
I am thinking about a lot of prestige Western TV like Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, and Mad Men and wondering what makes an unlikeable lead vs a fully realized anti-hero.
