It’s cheaper to eat at home with making food for myself. When I do go out, maybe once a week for a big hot won ton soup at the dim sum, I tip cash on the side and write zero on the receipt, because I am not waiting for “no tax on tips” to be on the books to see it happen. $4 cash on a $18 soup is more than fair.

If you don’t want to tip, keep your impoverished self out of restaurants.
